Definition
OKRs pair a qualitative objective (“what would make us proud”) with a few measurable key results (“how we will know”). They are a quarterly focus tool, not a task list and not a performance-review trap. If everything is an OKR, nothing is.
In the room
How the word shows up in a real conversation.
Objective: become the default GST tool for CA firms in Pune. Key results: 80 paying firms, NPS above 40, and weekly active use above 60%. “Ship the Android app” is a task, not a key result.
Common mistake
Writing key results you cannot measure, or stacking so many OKRs that the company has no focus.
