Enterprise integration

Enterprise integration is a process where business processes and information systems are coordinated across parts of an enterprise to improve efficiency and effectiveness. It may involve the use of enterprise service buses, middleware, and other technologies. This term is often used interchangeably with “enterprise architecture.”
