Cyclical unemployment

Cyclical unemployment is becoming a more common occurrence in the current economy and can be caused by economic downturns which usually occur gradually over a period of time. Structural unemployment, on the other hand, is when the needs of an economy are not being fulfilled due to structural flaws that have developed within it.
